In an evocative black-and-white scene, a moment of carefree exuberance is captured, showcasing the dynamic interaction between a child and an adult in a tranquil water setting. The child, a young boy, is caught mid-air, suspended in a playful leap, arms spread wide like a bird proving their wings, seemingly reveling in the joyous thrill of what appears to be an enticing plunge into the water below. His well-defined little shoulders and the slight arch of his back emphasize the buoyancy of youth, while his shorts cascade around him, beach-ready and vibrant even in monochrome.
Positioned below the boy, the adult, presumably his father, is prepared to catch him, his sturdy frame and muscular arms uplifted in anticipation. The little fingers of the boy’s feet are splayed as if fighting against gravity, while the man's tense biceps depict strength and assurance. About Trever Miller

Trever Miller is a self-taught photographer who has been exploring image making for over a decade now. Born and raised in rural Alberta, he moved to the city of Calgary in 1986 to pursue post secondary education in the field of computer technology. A lifetime of learning new things on his own terms in his IT career is also applied to photography. He is never satisfied with just close enough and constantly strives to improve in all aspects of photographic image creation. Trever currently resides in Lethbridge, Alberta with his wife Lori, and two little dogs, where the wind does not always blow like mad, but when it does walking the dogs is like flying furry kites.
